Green Godess smoothie

One of my favourite smoothie recipes is the Green Godess smoothie it’s packed full of wonderful ingredients that have multiple functions to get your body up and ready for anything in the morning.


1 banana
2 handfuls of freshly washed spinach
1 handful of freshly washed kale leaves
1 Tbls washed blueberries
1 Tbls pea protein powder
1 Tsp of oatbran
1 Tsp flaxseed
1/2 Tsp cinnamon
200ml water
200ml almond milk
1/2 Tsp chia seeds


1. Take all of the ingredients except the chia seeds and put together in a food processor or smoothie blender if you have one.
2. Whizz together until smooth then pour into a glass and stir the chia seeds into the smoothie.
3. Sit down and enjoy!

I use frozen berries as I find them much tastier and add a nice coldness to my smoothie. I also use frozen spinach sometimes too especially during the months when its not in season.
