Easy Raw Vegan Hummus


  • One tin of chickpeas in water
  • 1/4 tsp Garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • Shake of cayenne pepper depending on your own preference
  • 1/2 chopped red onion
  • 1 Tbs tomato paste
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Rinse the chickpeas and drain
  2. Add all ingredients together into a blender and blend until smooth if the mixture is too dry add a splash of olive oil whilst mixing.
  3. Serve with a drizzle of olive oil and a sprinkle of seeds and enjoy on crisp salad leaves or as a dip with crudités.
